So how does a Kreative Sleepovers work?
All our packages are designed to be hassle free. We arrive at your home, set up, check everything is in order and then leave to let you and your family enjoy your celebration. The next day we arrive, pack up and go. It's that easy.
What to expect at a Kreative Sleepover?
We aim to provide a hassle free experience and delight our clients. In preparation for our arrival, on the day of your sleepover, you will need to clear the party room. Then simply leave the rest to us.
Before your guests arrive, we will deliver, assemble and style your chosen Teepees. Then when you’ve finished, we will come back the next day to pack it all up, leaving you with only happy memories to cherish forever.
We will agree a tentative delivery time with you and confirm this with you a few days before your event. We generally allow 60-90 minutes for a party set up for 6 - 8 teepees, and 45 - 60 minutes for party pack down.
Are Pillows Provided?
For hygienic reasons, we do not provide pillows. We recommend that each guest bring their own pillow.
Is it just for kids?
Absolutely not. They are designed with kids and teens in mind, but we have had parents and kids do a "Family Camp at Home" set up and it worked great.
What's the standard hire period?
Standard hire is usually overnight. If you wish to hire for more than one night just make a note in your booking and we can arrange it (additional night rate applies).
If I want more Kreative Tents can I book more?
Certainly. For $45 per person we can expand the package to include as many as you need (up to 10 for now), complete with all the regular bedding and accessories. If you've got the space, we've got you covered. Of course we can cater for less than 5, you would have to call for pricing.
Speaking of space. How much space do I need?
Each Kreative Tent requires around 6.5ft depth and 3ft width, and are approx. 5ft high. The room should be large enough to adequately provide space for tents and mattresses. Please remember to allow space in front of the teepees for guests to access their teepees. Each teepee set up requires a minimum of 3ft x 7ft. All furniture and other items should be removed PRIOR to our arrival. WE DO NOT MOVE FURNITURE. There should be NO pets or smoking near the designated event location. Please call us to discuss the best configuration for your event. We can arrange in various configurations (line-up, semi-circle, aisles) depending on your space. If you're unsure, just ask.
How are the Kreative Tents cleaned?
After each event all bedding is laundered. Mattresses, tent covers, decorative pillows and styling items are disinfected and spot cleaned. We use the #1 recommended detergent brand by dermatologists, allergists, and pediatricians.

To advise that every precaution is being taken to ensure your teepee party is risk free. All of our bed linens are machine washed after every sleepover experience. All other fabrics (teepee covers and decorative pillows) are spot cleaned and are treated with a safe, natural, non-toxic, antibacterial solution. All hard surfaces are disinfected.
Can you rent a tent to be set up at hotels?
Yes! We are happy to setup our custom tents at a venue of your choice. Our sleepovers are generally designed to take place in the safety and comfort of your home, however we are glad to discuss another location with you. (Please note: If you are planning on hosting an event at a hotel or different venue, please contact them directly to check their guidelines and policies prior to booking. Also please be advised that you are responsible for all fees associated with this location. )
How do I book?
Simply fill out our contact us page. We will confirm your booking via email. We recommend booking at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure availability.

VENUE REQUIREMENTS
The room should be large enough to adequately provide space for tents and mattresses. All furniture and other items should be removed PRIOR to our arrival. WE DO NOT MOVE FURNITURE. There should be NO pets or smoking near the designated event location. Please let us know when booking your event how much space is available. If your event should take place in a hotel or a clubhouse, please understand that you are responsible for all fees associated with that venue.
FOOD AND BEVERAGES
We kindly request that only light dry snacks and clear beverages (no fruit punch or cola products) be consumed in the tents. We ask that no greasy or messy foods (especially those that are tomato based or have dark colored jelly) are served inside/around the tents. This is asked to help us maintain the highest quality of our linens and fabrics.
DAMAGES
Any damage to the property of Kreationz By Shay will result in assessment of charges to the client. Please keep items that will stain or damage our fabrics and linens out of the tents. Some of these items include paint, markers, nail polish, makeup, colored drinks, food, or slime products.
The decorative pillows are not meant for sleeping purposes, they are solely for decoration. The display trays in front of the tent are also used as décor and to hold any “extras” or favors the client my add to their package. Please do not use them for arts & crafts or to eat meals.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
If you need to cancel or change dates you must notify us at least 7 days prior to your event. A change of dates will be based on availability of the preferred date.
No refunds are granted for cancellations within 7 days of your event date.
ISSUES AND CONCERNS
Kreationz By Shay is not responsible for damage or loss of our inventory once placed at an event location. We assume no responsibility or liability for accidents or damages. The client will be held entirely financially responsible for any defacing of our property.
Kreationz By Shay is not responsible for any activities that take place during the rental period of our products that might result in an allergic reaction. Nor or we responsible for allergic/medical reactions that are a result of the food menu, wearing of costumes, materials given at the event.
